It was a long but very enjoyable day on Sunday as 26 of our pupils headed to Coachford to compete in the Muskerry Final in Scór na bPáistí. Pupils competed in 9 different competitions including solo and group figure dance, solo singing and ballad group, solo instrumental and traditional group, recitation and drama group (léiriú) and quiz. After many weeks of preparation and practice, the children took to the stage and did us proud representing the school. The support from parents and famillies was evident in the hall with the biggest cheers of the day for the Farran children as they received trophies in the recitation and léiriú. We wish the children participating in the léiriú the best of luck as they go on to the county semi final in Éire Óg on March 20th
