The Parents Association is delighted to share that our fifth Farran Fun Run took place on Thursday 4th June and was a tremendous success. Participation has grown significantly with fantastic numbers taking part in both the 5km and 2km races. What started as a small local event is now attracting runners from beyond our own community, with athletics clubs from all over Cork joining us on the day. Every penny raised after expenses goes directly back to the school for the benefit of your children and we are incredibly grateful for the support. A huge thank you to everyone involved- from our dedicated volunteers and enthustiastic runners to those who generously supplied refreshments, baked goods and sandwiches (which we're told were in very high demand!). It was wonderful to see such a positive community atmosphere with smiles all around and we are so lucky to have Farran Woods on our doorstep as the perfect venue.
