The purpose of the Farran Parents Association is to provide a structure through which parents/guardians of children attending the school can work together to support the best possible education and school experience for all pupils.
Aims of the Association
- Promote the interests of pupils in cooperation with the Board of Management (BoM), Principal, and staff.
- Foster a spirit of community and partnership between home and school.
- Support parents to engage positively in their children’s education.
- Organise activities, events, and information sessions that benefit pupils and their families.
- Represent the views of parents to the school.
- Support the school through voluntary assistance when requested and agreed.
Membership
All parents are automatically members of the Parents' Association and some are elected to represent each class grouping in the school. Meetings are usually held quarterly and all parents are welcome to attend.
